What is CR?

Word of Faith Celebrate Recovery

Celebrate Recovery (CR) is a Christ-centered, 12-step recovery program for anyone struggling with hurt, pain, or addiction of any kind. CR is a safe place to find community and freedom from the issues that may be controlling your life. Celebrate Recovery is sponsored and supported by Word of Faith Family Worship Cathedral, Austell, GA.

Celebrate Recovery Large Group Meetings

Word of Faith Celebrate Recovery is currently meeting at 7680 The Bluffs, Suite 100, Mableton, GA 30168 (CAP).

Our Large Group Session meets every Wednesday evening, at 7:00 PM.

I was lead by the Holy Spirit through my wife to visit CR, little did I know that CR would become life-changing to me. Yes, I had Hurts, Habits, and Hangups in my life while serving God , but CR and its facilitators helped me to discover God's Love in my life, not his wrath that I could only see. By discovering His Love, I was able to confess my sins. I am free from guilt. My Marriage, my relationships, and my walk with the Lord is better.

I came to C/R over 6 years ago. I was broken and filled with so much unforgiveness, because of being abandoned by my mother at 8 months old. Through C/R I learned to recognize and confess the hurt and feelings I had carried all my life. I am now free to love my mother and others. I also realize now more than ever, it was because Jesus loved and forgave me first.

I am a grateful believer in Jesus Christ that has struggled with addiction, anxiety, and depression. I was once on a train rolling full speed ahead destined to a valley with no brakes. My way was not working and then I was invited to WOF in July 2017. In September 2017 I learned and participated with a ministry where I belonged and began healing. That train derailed and put me on a new course called salvation and recovery. I am thankful!
